Painting Payment Options & Terms

Payment Options:

*For all options other than payment up front, please contact me directly and I will send you an invoice!*

1. Full payment up front 
2. 50% Deposit OR $25, whichever is more, is due at time of order and rest due when painting is complete.

If you have a budget in mind or any ideas not offered in my current lineup, please contact me!

Refunds & Cancellations & Other:

1. If commission is canceled by you after I have started painting, deposit is nonrefundable. If I have not started the painting, the deposit is refundable. If the commission is canceled by me, the deposit is refundable. 
2. For any reason, I reserve the right to cancel any commission I do not feel comfortable with.
   
3. There are generally no friend/family discounts for paintings. My prices are far below other painters in the Cola area making the same quality work. 

Terms and Information:

1. My style is a little painterly and not perfectly photo realistic - I paint this way on purpose. If you want a perfect photo, I cannot paint one.
   
2. Simple portraits and 'Nosy' portraits are budget friendly options and are not full body or bust paintings. This is how they can be more budget friendly and with quicker turnaround.
3. The panels are ‘cradled’, which means there is a lip to easily hang the portrait on walls. They’re also obviously firm so can stand on their own, although do much better leaning against something.
4. I hope I don’t have to share that paintings are handmade and delicate. Gouache (the paint) and water don’t go well. The painting will be sealed, but nobody is perfect, so please don’t swim with your painting or attempt to clean it with any liquids.
